The 2 photos above are from The Battlefields of Colloden. I have photos just like these taken when I was 8 years old on a whirlwind trip up north before we left for Australia. After almost 40 years I finally came back.

After our trip up North we spent more wonderful family time and went South, just into England.
visiting Alnick Castle was very interesting and fun at the same time.
You might also recognise the grounds of this castle as those used in the first Harry Potter movie.
There was the most amazing restaurant I have ever seen on the adjoining grounds: would you believe a Treehouse restaurant?
There was so much more but let me just share a few coffees with you ...
